Adriatic Luxury Sailing d.o.o., hereinafter referred to as ALS, respects the privacy of each person who visits our website. Now we would like to inform you of the type of data collected by ALS and how they are used. You will also learn how you can exercise your data subjects’ rights.
Any changes to this Data Protection Statement will be published on this page. This enables you to inform yourself at any time about which data we are collecting and how we use such data.
This Data Protection Statement does not apply to websites accessible via hyperlinks on ALS website.
ALS is obliged not to misuse your personal information contained in contact form. Personal information is considered to be all the data used for determining Users’ identity (such as first and last name, email address, home address etc.).
ALS will not deliver nor reveal Users’ personal information to third parties, apart from cases in which such actions are strictly mandated by the law in force and in cases when such actions are needed for fulfillment of obligations.
ALS uses personal data primarily to provide this website to the users and to ensure the proper functioning and security of this site. All User’s information is strictly protected and is available only to those employees who need such information in order to perform their job. All employees and business partners of ALS are responsible for respecting privacy protection principles.
ALS is obliged to ensure the protection of Users’ personal information by collecting only basic information on the Users’, i.e. only information needed for fulfillment of obligations.
ALS has the right to use information that is automatically recorded during each visit to the website, and is not considered as personal information (browser used, number of visits, time spent on the website etc.) for the sole purpose of making website visitation estimations and for website content and functionality enhancement.

Information about legally required personal data
In accordance with General provisions on data protection – Croatian Data protection Law, we must inform you that when placing a reservation and at check-in into your place of accommodation you agree to present your personal identification documents, i.e. submit your personal data (first and last name, type and number of your personal identification document, gender, state and address of residence, with date of birth and citizenship), all for evidence of tourists in the Information System of Tourist Boards of the Republic of Croatia – eCrew and eVisitor (Law on tourist tax payment and applicable bylaws).
The personal data is collected for statistic processing and is used by the Tourist boards, public authorities and Ministries relating to this procedure (Ministry of tourism and Tourist inspection, Ministry of internal affairs and Ministry of finances – Customs authorities).
Each unauthorized usage, publication, change, processing, reproduction, distribution, recording or assignment or any other form of unauthorized usage of such personal data is strictly prohibited.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

User can contact ALS employees through the contact form, by filling in the data such as: E-mail, name, surname, title subject and message. We will use your data for the purpose of replying to your request.
The processing and use of your data is based on statutory provisions which justify those operations on the grounds that the processing is necessary for processing your request.
If you have not given consent to a longer storage duration e.g. in the course of our customer relationship management we will store the data no longer than needed in order to fulfill the aforementioned purpose or as long as required in case any statutory retention obligation applies.

– With Tourist Board of the Republic of Croatia, as legal requirement to register your stay.

– If the Ministry of the Interior Affairs or the competent State Attorney requires the data for the purposes of carrying out the tasks within their competence.
– If a court, attorneys or a notary public require the data for their proceedings, where the submission of such data is required in writing.
– If the Tax Administration, the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute, and Croatian Health Insurance Fund require the data on the basis of the legal obligations that the controller has towards them.
– If we are obliged to submit data to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.
– Sharing them with our business partners (agents) in order to fulfill contracted services of the accommodation on the vessel.

ALS will stop that processing unless ALS can prove important reasons for the processing which deserve protection which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend against legal claims.
